This was extremely good and gave a local insight into how life was behind the wall and what it was like to be a part of the history of it coming down. We then headed for the Jewish museum through the snow, this was much fun and got some great pics. 45 minute wait here to get in due to being crowded and ...

... empty streets we found a delicious bakery/patisserie tucked under a train station (photo). After surveying the wares and getting totally out of sync with the precise German line up procedure, we ordered some coffee and Danishes which was very welcomed. ... until about 12:30 but could have stayed much longer. However we were booked in to the Neues Museum at 1:30 and needed a break. At the Neues Museum we saw masterpieces from the collections of the Egyptian Museum and also from Pre- and Early history and sculptures from the Collection of Antiquities, including the bust of Nefertiti. We felt pretty drained by the time we left there but after a coffee we decided we would visit the Berlin Dom ...

This morning we got up early, went downstairs for a coffee then walked back to our new favourite neighbourhood in Friedrichshain (where we had our Russian dinner last night). There was a flee market happening in one of the main platz. Nearby the market, we found delicious croissants filled with ham and cheese, so we walked around eating our breakfast and wandering through the stalls. Lots of great stuff! There was quite a bit of Danish modern ...
