... but I wasn't any of them, so I didn't stand up. Then I looked around, and I was the only one left. I realised they had taken everybody else, and when the time comes when I am forced to stand up and board the train to the concentration camp, there will be nobody to stand up for me to stop them." So many times we have headed out in shorts and a t-shirt feeling comfortable and then within an hour or so, the weather changes drastically to be windy, cold, and rainy. If we wait it out for a bit, the sun usually comes back with nice warm air again. It's incredibly difficult to predict so today I was prepared for everything and it worked well! Earlier this week, we met up ...

... nicely. Evening breeze is delightful and my Rose bubbly is superb! Thankfully the server speaks a lil English and I do my normal trick..."may I start with (insert glass of bubbles) & what do you recommend? Mmmmm...that sounds perfect. Can you please pair that with a nice wine? Danke." Yup. Works everytime! Food was good, pairing was decent and...I had a butter knife to cut my fillet of beef (?!). No bueno. Group of 16 sits down. Group of 8 leaves. ...
