We then walked to the Church of the Virgin Mary. This is the main church of Chania. It is quite small in side but very pretty. After our visit to the church, Dennis and I walked back to the ship. We have walked at least 2 miles every day and sometimes as many as four.

After I got off the tour, I walked over to the Municipal Market.  It was here in the market that I purchased a loaf of fresh Cretan bread known as Paximadia (rusks), olives, Cretan olive oil, herbs and fresh cheese.  It was a bustling market full of fresh fish, meats, produce and souvenirs.   On my way back to the Old Harbor, I ...

We received a special invitation to a sail away party with the senior officers on the Helipad cruising out of Venice. Spectacular scenery accompanied by champagne for a select few. We felt very special! Our boat towered over all of Venice and it was just magical to see all the old buildings, bridges and ...
