... large number of sarees. I mean I had never seen that many sarees, that many clothes lying at one place.

Once I got sarees for awfully cheap price, we went home. Then I rested there for sometime, before going to the bus stand to catch my bus to Udaipur.

About Surat, I must say this. If anyone is planning to by sarees for ceremonies like weddings, Surat is the place to be. The length and breadth of the textile market there is as big as a small town....

Spent a very short time in Vanesa, which is where Hirals dad is from. Since they are building a new house there...we were sent to do some interior decorating. ... rural setting with tick a long people just getting by. This is much more my thing than 5* silliness where people do everything for you. ... railway station tasted like Camel's pee. But the coffee was much better. Even though we just sit idle in the train, we tend to have an insatiable hunger. Thanks to the girls, they had shopped a lot of namkeen, khakras, theplas and other junk food. We somehow survived the pathetic chicken biryani and thali they serve in the train.

... Dips family's place I got to visit the town of Navsari for some new cover up clothes! It's a bustling vibrant town with lots of people, shops, cars and cows! I also paid a quick visit to Dandi Beach, the beach that Gandhi took action on against the Salt Act imposed on the people.
