... right between Little China and Little India leaving us with plenty of food options to try. For all of our dinners, we headed to the local food market. Twenty different options of food surround a hundred plastic tables. For our first meal, we had Japanese teriyaki chicken with barbecue beans and garlic bread. On our last night, we had chicken tikka masala, my favorite Indian dish. The food here has been ...

Up early this morning to catch the bus to Penang. I found one that drops you off just out of Georgetown so it wouldn't be hard to get to the hostel. We check out and got a cab to the bus station that cost 20 ringgit. Then we found the bus and got on. Only 40 ringgit to Penang. - Rachel's dad said "I do" too, for giving his daughter away.
- The Chinese wedding originally is very important for the parents. All their friends and relatives are invited to know and pay respect.
- A typical Chinese wedding is all about the food. Eat eat and eat.

It really was a wonderful and amazing day. I don't think there would be something else that would fit Jon and Rachel better then this. It was JonRaeDay for sure!

The arrival of Jenna's parents in Penang had been eagerly anticipated for all of three weeks. An impromptu booking with Singapore Airlines followed a Skype conversation and Sharon and Tony flew to Asia for the first time. Unbeknown to them, we arranged to be taken to the airport with Raj to meet them. Although we witnessed the aftermath of a horrific pedestrian accident on the way, we were all smiles as Sharon and Tony made a speedy exit through immigration and ...
