... both seem to be great guys. At least that's where the similarities end; don't particularly need a reenactment of that summer-fling-that-wasn't.
At least now I remember why I dislike drinking aside from medical reasons. Really, really don't like the light-headed feeling. Was quite paranoid by the time I left with Yvette and Jess.
Made it home safely and in one piece; definitely appreciated that Jess lives close and didn't mind walking with me. ...
... nice change to the hostels we have become accustomed to. We make our way to the front desk and are informed of the upgraded room and a nice congrats from the hotel for our first wedding anniversary. We jump in the elevator and get to room 612. After an efficient but pretty fomulaic check-in, we were feeling pretty bushed from the previous altitude and the journeys over the past few days so we ordered a meal on room service - which was very good; steak for me and grilled salmon for Anne. Next morning ...
... good view of the city from the bottom of it and especially from our hostel so not really sure why I went but nothing else was massively appealing to me. Got to too and could tell we were higher up - one it was much colder (another 1000 or so metres higher than before) plus head felt like being squashed and as soon as we got up there, none of us fancied the 3 hour hike to the top! Took some photos then got cable car ...
