... It was a wonderful little shop! The owners were so nice and knew their chocolate! After the chocolate we went to lunch. I had a yummy traditional Andes quinoa soup. And the butter for the bread was melt in your mouth amazing and I am not a butter person. Dessert was chocolate soup. Yes, it was that good. ... for the evening. We were finding Quito a little difficult.
On Friday 1st May, we did indeed hunker down for the day in our apartment. We enjoyed the use of the kitchenette and managed to make the coffee less bad. Otherwise, not much to report today. Had lunch at a restaurant called "The G-Spot". Burgers were good; little pricey though. Though pricey is relative, given it would've been decently priced back home and that a lunch can be $2.50 here.
