    ... the corner. The building remains but the Edeka is long gone.
    Actually, there is no business there now and it looks run down. Next was our old airbase which is now used for some commercial, charter and private jet operations. We also found a shop we had gone in last time that had official German "stuff" and I found the candle merry-go-round thingy mother had...I wanted to get one for our family tradition.     ... the locals think as they drive by these beautiful ruins or castle walls and the vines...I'm sure they love the history. We also learned that most of the people who live in the small towns on the Rhine work in the bigger cities on the Rhine.
