We all slowly fell in love with Slovenia, camping in the pine trees, swimming in the lake and chilling amongst the mountains. The campsite was full of Dutch teenagers making the most of the activities on offer on the raging river running past the campsite. A great couple of nights enjoying the surroundings, even with some traditional Slovenian music thrown in as we ate dinner on the last ...

... trees at a working farm. There's no restaurant but an honesty-box fridge stacked with beer. Later a young Austrian couple stroll over. They are going for pizza, and would we like some fetching. Oh yes please.

So with pizza and beer for supper we set up camp on lush grass beneath shady trees. It's very warm and for the first time camping on this trip there is no dew next morning.
