... and hand wash everything in the sink. Not the most relaxing day, but clean clothes are nice! While the drive today was absolutely breathtaking, it was nerve-racking as well. ... at Triumph Motorad Villach should they need their bike serviced or repaired. Friday and the bike has been finished. Nice new tires and fully serviced with no problems. Martin collected me from the hotel whilst Marg went to her hair appointment. At the triumph dealer they joked how only one rich Australian a year was all that was needed to keep the dealership going and ran off to prepare the bill. ... the waters of the lake. From its walls we could look out onto the surrounding valley and mountain peaks. We enjoyed the views, the museum and the people watching. Blake worked with the local 'monk' to bottle some wine, including filling the bottle, adding the cork, dipping the neck into beeswax and signing off on the certificate of authenticity. ... join all the other punter tourists on the cramped boats, we decided instead to row out to the island from the closest point, in a rowing boat. It was a lovely calm day and our jaunt across the water was simple enough, once Mattijs had got the hang of the whole rowing thing! I had offered but the man who had rented us the thing had insisted the lady be rowed and I was hardly complaining!

Whilst cycling around, we had noticed a number of people swimming in the lake, not only at the designated public lido but also at random spots.
