We are stopping here tonight in the Hotel Stara Skola, this was easy to find right in the main street. There is also a large cave system here, the Sloupsko - sosuvske caves. They are famous for the find of a Neanderthal skull here, dating from 120,000 years ago. Also the skeletons of bears, lions and hyenas have ...

It turns out that the Czech people lost all interest in religion when it became a political ploy by those in power to manipulate the people. So why are there so many churches? Don't know and probably won't find out until we learn some Czenglish. Probably won't happen this ...

... from Olomouc. It is mostly an industrial town and you can see the main sights in a day easily. Their tram system is very similar to ours so it was pretty easy to figure out. We found our hostel and then headed out to find us some dinner. We ate at a local pinnovar (brewery) and of course had some great food including pumpkin soup! Went to bed early so we could get up Saturday morning to get started. They have three big sights that you must see which includes the Main ...
