... on street front closed but one open on station platform- no sign suggesting try upstairs...just closed. All walking trails closed due to weather conditions. No indication when they will open. Bugger! Will hang around in morning and see if they open. Don't like chances cause it's still sprinkling light rain so they won't dry out. Don't know what to do- looking forward to staying in one place for a few days- walk along coast and catch train ...

Back up to real world and went into restaurant across road from hotel. A great meal for € 25with wine. Served by a Ben ...

Something to keep in mind. We sailed from Genoa about 6 pm and were due in to ...

Finally in this beautiful place, destined to become the one place we will come back to, unquestionably. Situated 20 mins from Portifino (easy to get to by ferry or bus, or if like us...walking) Santa Marg has everything....unbelievable views, good transport, great restaurants (well, we actually went to the same place each night....but we passed hundreds of others!) and quiet, really quiet, for such a big place. First port of call is Portifono. When they describe ...

... the keys with the train station ticket office . Sounded risky but we had insurance so what else could we do but walk to the beach for lunch and a coffee to fill in time till our train was due. We ordered 2 x iced coffees ,what we got was cold black coffee , no milk and no ice cream? Lunch and the company ( we met a nice Scottish couple ) made up for the coffee and the Cesear Salad and lemon ...
