    ... After about an hour or so the mist disappears and sunshine fills the sky......and the temperature quickly rises to a lovely 24c........!

    We arrive at our Albergo and find it is part of a brewery ..... So we test the ale! Dinner is served in the adjoining restaurant ..... Also part of the brewery.....could/ should b a good this ...

    Carbon copy repeat of a previous experience trying to sail into Portofino - rough seas meant it was too dangerous to tender ashore, so instead we docked in Genoa.

    Having explored the city on that last visit, we chose to still take a shore excursion to visit the picturesque towns of Sestri Levante & Rapallo

    ... are heading north. It was a very cute town (overcrowded with tourists though). The photos cannot do justice to the steepness or greenness of the terraced slopes of produce. We also saw many lemon trees with the biggest lemons I have ever seen in my life. They were bigger than grapefruits and some were like rockmelons.
