Stranded in St Moritz
... walking the streets at all. Each and every shop is closed; the place is totally dead to say the least!!! The only people walking the streets were tourists such as myself who I suspect were also wondering why everywhere was closed!! Ok yes it is Sunday but surely there must be a few small shops and cafe's open?? No, there was not a single shop open in this whole town.

As I approach the summit at 2284m I see a large sign saying "Restaurant ahead", yes I think, it’s time for another hot chocolate!! But as what seems the norm at this time of year in Switzerland the restaurant was closed and so no hot chocolate again;-((

What a journey
Left castelrotto bus to Bolzano, showery only so good for travel. Bolzano by train to merano then train to mals. This was a 2carriage train massive windows even bigger than normal regional trains. Beautiful country looking at forts, castles, snow, alps. Then postal bus from mals to zermez Switzerland. It is known for travelling through 3countries over high mountains then into valley. Sondrio, Tirano and the Bernina Express
