A travel blog entry by stef.pybus on Oct 07, 2015

So just to get things straight. .. in spring I had a student who told me all about her amazing cycle trips around europe and how much fun they were. Long story short, she inspired me and jan to try this out ourselves. Because we worked all summer, and summer was hot, we decided that autumn would be the best time to do this trip. As ...

... the funicular up to the top, Muottas Muragl, 2456 metres. Coffee and a walk to the lookout, with great panoramas, back on the funicular then a bus back to St Moritz. All the transport was free, on presentation of the pass. Off to the pub for the Scotland vs Sth Africa game, dinner then the first half of Aust vs England, leaving at half time to watch the rest in our room at the hotel. Great result with Australia winning 31 - 13. Early start tomorrow: Munich via the Library at St ...

junction and roads going in all direction. You just have ...

... his process in Italian to Luigi who translated...sometimes speaking to me in Italian and to the cheesemaker in English. His translation skills are a bit rusty. He invited me to help him out, so here I am in my travel clothes working hard to ensure that someone in one year (the aging time of the cheese we were making) will taste the best cheese ever. The process of making four forms of cheese took about an ...

... up 1000 m (3000 feet) to the peak. Luigi had the transportation aspect all mapped out and it was working like Swiss Clockwork...until we got off the train at the wrong the middle of nowhere. To make a long story short...the Bernina Diavolezza visit had to wait another day. The following day is when I learned how to make cheese and enjoyed watching a boy-scout beer convention at 3,000 m elevation....but that is for another ...
