After a very restful nights sleep we decide to squeeze our way out of the marina and move to anchor on Volcano Island so we can get an early start tomorrow at 4am to Palamero. Volcano is famous for its mud baths and hot springs so a treat in order for all of us. We could smell the baths before we could see them as the sulphur was very potent so a trip a shore ...

I can now say I have seen and thrown a coin into Trevi fountain but unfortunately it just didn't have the same plop as we had hoped, more of a tinktinkting as it hit the cement bowl of the empty pool! (even though we knew it was under repairs and covered in scaffolding) we did get to walk over the fountain, which ...

We knew this day was coming but it came too soon.... Time to farewell a thousand people in one foul swoop! We had it all planned, starting at 12 and hopefully finishing at 6 so we could finish packing and cleaning before heading to rome tomorrow for a day before saying goodbye for a while to this amazing continent. We got up and I packed everything in sight the headed out to Zia chichina, zio Pippo and Maria's to say goodbye ( approximately 10 ...
