... the bus back, that we are on now, we had to pay for! Lucy, who had budgeted 20€ for the next few days, was not pleased. Writing this later: We agreed it would be a good idea to do the free pasta cooking class at the hostel. Pasta is not too hard to make we learnt- mix eggs and flour, then roll it out and then cut it into strips. Sounds like it would take no time at all. However with a group of 30 that all had to one-by-one use the pasta mangle, which ...

... while we watched people and Ellie got to feed more birds! As we walked to the end of the spit of land it was scorching hot and we were wilting, so when we reached the 'lido pubblico' the opportunity to go for a swim in the Lake was too good to miss so that's what we did. So after our journey here on Saturday we arrived at Camping Fontanelle. The site is on the west side of Lake Garda about 10km South of Salo at Mo**** Del Garda. This site is bigger and busier than the others we have been at, but it faces straight onto the Lake and also has a pool so the kids are chuffed. When we checked in we were a little concerned at how small our pitch might be but we needn't have worried we somehow ended up with a huge pitch albeit quite sloped! Our ...

    Training Day 4

A travel blog entry by amandafield2 on Jul 28, 2015

Today before sailing we went to the bike shop and got some bikes. When we were on the water we were going downwind then up and tacked and then the vang broke. We tried to get Bully's attention but he didn't see us so we went to the other rib and Sam, Archies Dad, tied a knot so we could finish the training session. After sailing a few of us kids went back to the Coper's and then we went and had pizza together. Mum had dinner at Jill and Guy Abels with Chris.
