... from another guy before getting out of the sun with lunchtime approaching. We set off into town around 1200 and after a half hour walk we found a small shopping centre where we looked for some food. Not much luck in the food department with no supermarket there and could not find one close, so we ducked into a buffet self service churasco where you are charged per 100g of food you eat. We were pretty tame on the food and didn't go ...

Had to get the old sock out to brew the morning coffee and supplement from the local bakery before heading off to see the fort – had failed to read the dire warnings from LP re. walking there, so did and had no problems. Still, me and the whole town were there so little chance to get away with anything.

        Was strategically ...

... I believe it translates to really long sandwich but Nayara and Jamille said there is no translation). We ate at an Italian restaurant run by Italians. Again, the food was delicious. We went to a little dessert shop that we discovered earlier and I had this fluffy sugar sandwich with doce de leite in the middle. This is a poor description but it tasted heavenly. We returned to our cabin and ended our delightful ...
