We set out from Tirano this morning to head south. The plan was to get to Genoa or Savona - but we had to tackle the Autostrada through Milan first. Sorry to say, no photo's today. ... then head to Portofino via Santa Margherita. Silvia told us to get to Portofino, enjoy the town, but then head up the mountain to a castle and down toward the water for a view of the lighthouse. We have to make it home by five because there is an Italian class at 530 and dinner at 8 in a restaurant. Sitting in front of my desk right now and the breeze is blowing and the clouds are rolling in but are tinged with pink and purple. It's very pretty.
