... That seems a bit odd. Not sure where the sand would come from. Probably just my eyes. We pass through lots of little villages which are very agricultural. It's so much more satisfying going by train than flying. It's not a cheap way to travel though. A Eurail pass would be the way to go if you're moving around a lot. ... cafe to settle in for a nice pasta lunch. This was followed by a wander around Varenna, up into the town square and the church. And then to a tiny little beach. Back to the ferry and then back to Bellagio for a lovely dinner made up of sensational pork sausages, meats, olive and cheese from the little deli at the end of our lane way.

... spectacular and we have been blown away with the vast mountain ranges with snow covering them, it was surreal.Sophie fell asleep at the perfect time as the road was starting to become a little winding.

... fast as they would carry me, down the hundreds of stairs and into the church itself. (Instead of wait in line for the lift) The church was very special and rather breathtaking.
