... but I really enjoy it and it's a good pick-me-up.

The attractive barista graciously offered to take our picture, last in Amalfi then it was to the car and off.

We programmed our GPS to Ravello, just twenty eight kms away and from there we would access the A1. This route because we had been advised by both our guides that we should see Ravello. It's a hill top town, not walled, built and terraced into the hill sides as you make the climb ...

I made it in just as it started to get dark and walked around some of the little shops before they close. It's been such a long day that I opted for a shower and nap before dinner. I'm so exhausted I'm opting for watching some movie and then bed. Buona note e baci dalla ...

... not a soul in sight. Not a shop open. Not a cat. NOBODY!!!! Can you image.....an entire town closed????

Next day we choofed off to claim our miracles from Saint Frances of Assisi, who founded the Franciscan Religious Order in the town in 1208. He is know as the patron Saint of Animals and the Environment. Another mountain side medieval town, also fascinating. Loads of walking, Paul went up the Fortress tower - and a walk through the streets and shops. Had a spritz in ...
