... this period of year there are mostly aged people resting there, however I noticed there a lot of clubs near the beaches, so I consider that in summer this town is full of students. The beaches are sandy and what is important all those beaches are public. And one more thing - there are NO PRIVATE BEACHES in Lloret de Mar!

Tossa was just as they had described it – a lovely beach in a large bay with a castle on the peninsula. The weather was lovely as we explored the town and found a restaurant behind the castle wall to have lunch, where Alison got to taste paella at last. She enjoyed the meal – although she had to admit the paella she had ...

... Alison bought a small leather change purse for €2 to replace her stolen wallet. Then it was back to enjoy the pool at the timeshare. We spent a very relaxing day enjoying each others company, sunbathing in the heat of the day, before heading back to Girona airport with Chris & Milly at night, so that they could catch their flight back to London. Our farewells weren’t too teary, as we knew we would see them again in two weeks, in Auckland.

The timeshare (Port de Rei) is situated a short distance out of the town of L'Escala. We drove through town following Dora’s directions, but were not too sure where we were headed, eventually ending up outside a large building built on a rugged coast overlooking the Mediterranean. Our plan was to inform the manager of our late arrival (on the next day) and then head towards Girona where we were to pick up Chris & Milly who were joining us for the ...

... and also you can do a lot of activities. So we thought that we could speak about our surroundings that we know very well and perhaps that can help the people who wants to visit our region.

A la izquierda, la Minerva. Es la playa principal de Tossa de Mar,
medirá aproximadamente 200 metros de extencion y de la calle al mar
habrá unos 100 metros.
Esta muy bueno acá, hay sol pero no molesta, hace calor pero no
agobiante.

... Baeleric sunshine. It was pretty much perfect. Our hotel (and my bed there) was amazing!

The next morning we went to La Jonquera and visited a museum dedicated to the exiles of the Spanish Civil War. It was very interesting, but everything was only in Catalan, which made for a limited educational experience. Then we got back on the bus, and before I knew it there were signs flashing by that said France!! (minus the exclamation marks) They didn't ...

... to completion. Amazing place. Full concrete factory inside the church and spending around 1 million euro per month on construction (but bringing in 50M Euro pa from tourists)

Sitting on the balcony now having caviar, beer and cheese with my sister and wife....does not get much better than this for our annivesary!!!

... has a patio on the roof with a gorgeous view of the old town. It would be great to hang out but I only have an hour or so before sunset to see the city. Again, I walk along the top of the town wall's fortifications. At sunset, I made it to a great overlook of the 14th-century cathedral. It is supposed to have an amazing interior but I am far too late. I just enjoy the sunset behind the cathedral with the mountains as a backdrop.

... with looks and personality) it failed. We tried our luck with the next group of people who happened to be all boys. Finally we had some friends. We united this group of boys with the group of girls we attempted to meet and made a super party with alcohol, shesha, sunset. However, the party was short lived because the girls were ugly.
