... from the rooms above. Best to get an upstairs room. There were no toiletries and when we asked for soap the receptionist couldn't find any so gave us shampoo and lotion instead!! There is tea and coffee in the breakfast room with cake and fruit to snack. Wifi only works occasionally. Not good as I couldn't get online all night. Breakfast was very good with a good assortment of bread, meats and cheeses, vegetables, cereal and fruit with freshly cooked ...

We headed off early in the ...

After the sleeping bag is soaked, it's almost impossible for me to lift it out of the water. This probably means that the sleeping bag holds more than fifty litre of water. It takes all my strength to lift the sleeping bag. Water is leaking out as I hold it. After a while it's light enough for me ...

I do as I promised, break up camp first thing. I walk back towards the B109 hoping that I might find a spot to hitchhike that I've overlooked yesterday. I find a very bad spot but try for half an hour anyway. No luck. I decide to go north towards the coast. There's a detour that'll allow me to walk a little bit more before I hitchhike. When I get to the coast, I realise I can take a swim to refresh myself a little bid. I head for the beach. There are ...
