... from the tourist info and following the walking tour around the old part of town. Because this was such a wealthy place centuries ago, there were many monumental churches, impressive gabled buildings, huge warehouses and a grand Town Hall (Rathaus). We visited 2 of the churches, and walked through a number of other buildings and along the port area. It was an easy drive back. We'll be leaving Germany tomorrow, heading for ...

We continued our travels north towards the top off Germany. We stopped at a tiny town of Warnitz. It was in the middle of a large forest on a lake. The winding lane to get there had a give way to frogs sign. We didn't see any frogs or toads to give way to. I find a very bad spot but try for half an hour anyway. No luck. I decide to go north towards the coast. There's a detour that'll allow me to walk a little bit more before I hitchhike. When I get to the coast, I realise I can take a swim to refresh myself a little bid. I head for the beach. There are ...

I wake up about 2am. The glue has dried for more than three hours and I inflate my mattress. I fall asleep again. My mattress is completely deflated in the morning. My fix didn't work. A bit grumpy, I have breakfast and breakup camp. I'm going back to the centre. I'll probably have to buy something new. I really don't want to buy anything that has to be inflated again. Sooner or later it'll leak. I pas a small river and decide to look if ...
