... cafe where the waitress took us upstairs for lunch. We've been eating in places that have no translations in the menus so it always takes a few minutes for people to figure out what they want to eat, although the wine is usually ordered quickly enough. When our waitress came to get the order, she remembered it for all 14 of us (13 plus our guide) without writing down anything. that's impressive but then I would imagine they never ...

One of the best chateau castle ruins we had visited. The town itself is a photographers dream with stunning views and beautiful streets and houses at every turn. Found a patisserie at the top where we bought a local specialty sweet bread loaf called Fouace. ...

Very comfy bed and nice to not have to rush off anywhere and to just take in the location we were lucky enough to be staying in. Absolutely stunning weather today. Had a relaxed breakfast and then headed to Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val for the Sunday market. Certainly is popular with French people and a beautiful town. Joined in with the locals and managed to buy some more food! Got local cheese, bread, dried fruit and ...
