... an Ammonite and cool rocks from one stall then we headed home for some lunch. In the afternoon we went for a great bike ride through the countryside and explored some forest on foot (which ended up in a large broccoli field!) When we got back we played and intense game of Scrabble and then relaxed in the spa soaking up the view down the valley. Emily has some home made potato and leek soup on the stove which we will have with some fresh baguette for dinner, just ...

The food was very artistic and tasty and we mentioned it was Harry's birthday and when dessert time came around they came and sand happy birthday to him. ... Found the supermarket and a pub so all was good. About 2:30pm we left Gaillac and drove out to the house we were staying out. We met Stephane at Castelnau who then directed us out to the property. Well we weren't disappointed. Great views, large well appointed house with underfloor heating, wood fire (with plenty of wood outside), excellent ...

We have had a couple of quiet days so this post will cover Friday, Saturday and today Sunday.

After the busy few days with snow and visiting Toulouse we decided to take it easy for a couple of days and catch up on some schooling and chores around the home. Friday morning was spent in school with a well deserved break coming in the afternoon when we all went for a swim in Montauban. Yes, that's right, we went swimming. What else would you recommend to do ...
