Today I had a business meeting in Cologne so we set out to tackle the rush hour traffic. Actually it wasn't too bad and we arrived with an hour to spare. This we spent searching out free WiFi and drinking a coffee at nearby café.

This morning after having our coffee on the banks of the Rhine, we packed up camp and set off to find a spot close to Cologne so that I could make my scheduled meeting without undue panic.

... did because my train was cancelled and it was lucky that I just managed to catch another earlier train. I was sad though because I wasn't able to hug Franzi goodbye, otherwise I would have missed my train. As usual, I had a fantastic time in Duisburg. That family is always so hospitable and kind. I love them to bits and hopefully I will be able to spend some time with them in the Christmas holidays exploring the German Christmas markets <3
