There are only 200 rooms in the palace and the royal family only stays here for a few months in the summer and then they go back to Milan.       ... We were off! Exiting the building through 7 levels of switchbacks was a good introduction to Italian roads. For those of you who might not have had the opporunity to drive in Italy or Europe, the parking garages as well as the streets tend to be about 3 sizes smaller than they are in North America.

      ... land, and our anchorage at Cape Palinuro, the sails came down, and we went the rest of the way under power. Cocktail hour celebrated yet another crossing. This one was as nice as our Corfu to Santa Maria de Leuca. Two out of four, isn't bad. Our next and last crossing will be from Naples to Cannes, without stopping..... Over 400 miles!       ... finding that as we head further south people do not speak much English. The owner was very nice and gave all of us a large dinner plate. Don't know if I will be able to carry home.
