Its market day in hilltop San Marco so we decided to take Alliza for a visit and experience a local hilltop town. The sun is shining and the weather is hot but not as bad as it has been. We decide to all go our separate ways as Michael hates shopping. The market is quite large and has quite a few more stalls than previous ones. ... you sick). The trainee hairdresser is a young girl of 23 who is keen to learn English. She knows how to speak it a little bit and quickly embraces the opportunity to practise her language skills. She actually speaks quite well and it's a shame that they are so limited in the South in being able to learn English properly. Emily and her chat all the while she is doing Emily's hair and Emily wants to take her home. Haha.

We see another Aunt of Michaels there Zia Rosetta and I ask her about the ladies that sing in the church minus musical instruments. She says they are the same ladies that say the rosary and sing at each funeral...they too are being kept real busy! ...
... group is now 9. We leave around 4.30 in the afternoon as we have other relatives to visit. It's difficult spreading ourselves around with so many relatives here.
Michael takes the kids to see some cousins on his side and I go with Silvana and Armando to visit some on our side. No dinner tonight as we can hardly breathe! ...
