Well, we slept OK on this old piece of road and no disturbances except for the light - it hardly went dark at all this far North. So light in fact we are up at 0430 and after a coffee en route by 0515 so now we feel we have been driving for ages, and of course we have. Not sure where we are heading today except towards Umea and we will try to find a nicer overnight stop when we are too tired to continue. Well, 1700 hours local time and we are in a ...

I would love to try it in the winter, when you have to drill holes in the ice to have some water to jump into. It would be a real shock to the system, going to such temperature extremes. It was very relaxing, something I really needed after getting back from a trip and going on another the next day.
