... circle the dome to complete the beautiful exterior. We chose to omit the €10 pass to see the bowels of the cathedral and to climb its dome and neighbour tower as we thought it was a bit steep, but definitely an option if you were after a higher vantage point to see Florence.

... There was a 2km road of leather markets and they were fabulous. I bought 2 and managed to haggle one from almost 90 euro to 60. The quality is divine. In the night we went to a restaurant where they used no processed foods made outside of the place and made their own pasta. It was lovely.
