... electives, so we got on the 630am train and were to the mountain by 9am and caught the gondola right at the bottom of the mountain by 930am. This mountain was huge - many connected resorts that we couldn't even hit them all in one day, but it was awesome! Much more groomed then Engelberg, so conditions were a bit better and of course snowed in the afternoon, so we had some fresh pow pow! We had lunch at a great spot on the mountain - of course ...

... was super fast and as normal the train was impressive, have no ideal why I spent so much wasted time in the past driving around Europe looking for parking and then walking anyway when this sort of travel was available. Our apartment is about 15mins from the central area and is an easy walk. The apartment is a private two bedroom flat which is neat and comfortable on the third floor. ... walk. We left at 7:30 for an 8pm reservation. What we didn’t realize was that the evening was more like a concert with courses of food served at precise times during the evening. The concert started on time at 8pm. Our walk was a smidgen faster than leisurely, so things were looking good but while we didn’t get lost entirely, we did have to consult our map and in the end check with a taxi driver who was very helpful. As it turned out we were ...

... yesterday. The rain didn't last all day though. We had a leisurely stroll into the Old part of town after making a stop to get sticking plaster for my big toes that have been suffering. All strapped up now so all good again to go. We headed through the quaint little streets past the beautiful little boutiques and cafe's dotted along the Cobblestone streets. It is truly such a picturesque gorgeous little town. Our destination today was to go through the massive fort ...
