... so no pics will do it justice (I took video though). So instead of a snow pic, I have attached a special photo I took today at the zoo.
Then after that excitement I got the funicular up to the fortress and my battery died after 3 photos so they are not very good but it was worth it to get a video of the Pumas.
Now am hoping for some sun tomorrow which is my last day in Salzburg. I wanna see those magnificent mountains.
... put together your own personal picnic to take back to your table in your beer hall and have soakage as you drink... all very well done. Stiegl was my other brewery visit, as they advertise a tour of their main brewery, on of the largest in the country. It was more a tour of the beer museum than the plant itself, but was worth a visit and included 3 free beers, one of which was a very yummy Christmas honey brew... mmmm!
On my final day ...
... Ok, that's not true.
Although no snow, I'm almost as excited about the prospect of seeing some sun tomorrow, as I have not seen one bit of sun since I left Sydney. The last tiny patch of blue sky I saw poking through clouds was in London, but haven't seen the orb since I left home. I'm doing the touristy places tomorrow so hopefully I will have some amazing views ahead of me.

Waddling out of the Cafe Sacher, we took the bus back to our pension, jumped in the car and drove a few kilometers to a cable car which took us up 7,000 feet to a mountaintop hiking destination, the Untersberg, from which we could look far into the distance and survey the beautiful countryside below. Dinner at a little restaurant down the road from our accommodations ...
... we will ever see them again but hopefully we will stay in touch! June 3, 2013 After sleeping in the basement of our new hostel Carmy woke up earlier than I did to go upstairs and check Facebook, as there was no wifi in the rooms. We noticed that the hotel staff was pumping water out of the laundry room, and wiping up water from one of the other dorm rooms, as the basement was flooding from all the rain. After I joined Carm upstairs we both decided to check our facebooks and ...
