So up with the dawn chorus or so it felt. We had to catch a bus from the nearby town of Strobl to go into Salzburg and it took almost an hour it could have been longer but Mr T(aka Roy Cropper) kept us and the bus driver on track. Salzburg is beautiful the buildings are vet symmetrical and the architecture of and inside the churches and cathedrals is amazing. Even the kids are impressed. Charlotte has taken to being a photographer some her pictures are fantastic ...

We arrived in Fürstenfeldbruck at 4pm and caught up with Steffie's cousin Regina and her family. We last saw her at a family function at the start of the year, so it was good to catch up with her again. Started the day by unwedging the car from a lovely car that had parked right in front of us, leaving about 10cm spare. Thought it was going to be about a 20-point turn, but with the aid of trusty rear-sensors at the back & Mum-sensors at the front, we got out fairly easily & were on our way back to Lake Konigsee.

Parked our car away from the tourist car park & sneakily got free parking all day! Feels like we're locals ...

I've lost track of time, half the time I don’t know what date or day of the week it is. Thank goodness for the cell phone.

I’d asked Tobias, our exchange student, if we could spend the night at the last minute. But I had the dates wrong on when we would be leaving. Poor people, they didn’t know what to think. We had planned to leave the following morning, we had to be in ...
