... was also an old hut that the workers that built the road had lived in and a memorial to those that had died during the construction. The tunnel at the top had icicles in it from water that had been dripping. At 5.00 pm it was 1.5C.

We stayed the night just at the bottom of the road in a car park as it was starting to get dark.
