You pay once you're at the top of the narrow spiral staircase, and then you have to climb a ladder to get outside for the real view. At the top of the ladder you squeeze through a tiny door (it's a little awkward) and then BAM you're outside and way above the main market square! We got onto one of those double decker trains and of course we had to sit up the top. It was time for a very German snack of large pretzels and frankfurters. I'm quite surprised that Germans don't produce sausage rolls because they eat 1000 other variations of processed meat! There isn't normally a dining car on-board unless you are traveling by high-speed rail.

Snitzel all around - delicious!
It was a lovely atmosphere & a great experience to stay in a smaller town rather than in the larger, more touristy ones.
We enjoyed the night, and no wifi.

Took some photos then to the hotel for dinner and bed, off to Strasbourg ...
