    ... Came down & walked to the Christmas shop, in fact it has Germanys largest Christmas village (Kathe Wohlfarht) what an amazing shop, spent a little money... Proceeded onto the torture chamber, interesting bits & pieces to see how they had to get people to confess etc.

    ... baked cheesecake without a pastry base, sultana scrolls and Hefezopf. Thorsten was at work. Melissa was there and Steffi came a bit later. She went swimming. Home to Mucki's to get our luggage for the next week and then to Otto's for dinner. Hedwig and Jurgen were there for dinner too. Another great evening. All of our luggage will not fit in Wolfgang and Katrin's car so Wolfgang and Mucki will take the rest of our luggage to our hotel in Stuttgart. Amazing ...

    ... to return 3 tickets we bought to Mackenbeuren (lose 17.5 Euro per ticket for the 29 Euro tickets) and purchase the Bad Wurtemberg ticket to Ulm and Bayern ticket to Nurnberg for Wednesday. Mucki and Wolfgang drove us to Rosemarie and Roland Kohr for coffee and cake. We also drank Furst von Metternich C******nay Champagne.     ... was carved by Tilman Riemenschneider, Germany’s Michaelanglo of wood carving. We thought Josie would want to stay about 5 minutes, but we ended up exploring for about 45 minutes. After the church, we hit one final Teddy Bear store (Germany loves its bears, and Josie does, too), then went back to the apartment to change laundry and grab Mac for a spin around the ramparts.
