this mist I heard music. I listened carefully trying to work out what direction
it was coming from. With the wind it was hard to hear and so I walked about
trying to see or hear what it was all about.

then i saw some light in the thick mist and sure enough it was this great hotel
and sure enough they came to my rescue.

it just luck or was it simply another miracle to happen in my life??

... br> It was now after 5pm and I was feeling the pain of this ************ my bike and so seemed to want to stop more and more. as i passed one town i saw a petrol station and just thought perhaps i should fill up. Getting fuel in Italy is a right nightmare as 99% of filling stations are "do it yourself" and many have no instructions in English.
I had only done 148 miles since filling up yesterday so still had another 120 or so in the tank but what made me want to fill-up here ...
