... and see the view. The spire was in the centre of the platform and it wasn't until we had walked around 3/4 of it that I noticed the stairs up the spire. So we climbed the narrow, winding steps to the very, very top. It was quite windy up there but wow what a spectacular view!

Spending some time at the lake, had my friend visiting for a weekend, enjoyed some parties and got excited about my new car finally arriving....

anyway. We then walked across town and walked across the bridge over

Ulm is a city of 130,000 so I don’t think we will see everything. We did find out that 85% of Ulm was bombed during the war, but from what we have seen so far, you would never realize it. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, right along the Danube.
