... was worried about was the casualty rate when we started to descend. Instead we walked a circuit on a 'flat' path around Breglia to a shrine and sanctuary with views over the lake. Roberta's idea of flat is a little different to mine - there were a couple of steep climbs which got the heart racing. The path passed through chestnut and birch trees.
