... the windows to the restaurant below, wasn’t so stinky after all, and the bed was quite comfortable. I even slept until almost Noon today!
After dropping my bag, I set out to find the town center. It wasn’t too far from my hotel, but amazing how the clientele changed in the city center. I had a much more comfortable feeling and I made a mental note to get back into the hotel and lock myself in my room before dark! I climbed ...
... is only sold in the beginning of the fall season, I guess right before the wine is actually made. It's so good! It's like a sweeter, lighter wine. Wish I could have brought some home! Then we went to another restaurant, where we had chicken and yummy salad with Kurbiskernoel (pumpkin seed oil). Spending time with Opa's friends was so much fun and it was so thoughtful of them to invite us to lunch. I wished Opa could have been there, too.

We drove from Vienna south to Graz, which was a lovely little city. We parked Fred along the river and walked into town. The main old square was having a chocolate festival! so there were a lot of people milling around with spoons in their hands. They bought the spoons and then could taste different kinds of chocolate from vendors…very tempting but we had things to see. We decided to take the glass lift through the hill to the top of Castle Hill ...
Graz, Styria, Austria armajor7On the last evening in Belgrad, i was not sure if i will head to Ljubljana or back home on the next day. I wrote some CS-requests for Ljubljana, but i was not lucky.
It cannot be denied, that Belgrad has flair, and the nighlife particularity; When i roamed throught the streets, i accidently passed a mass of people and asked, what was going on. They declared, that Serbia was ...
... for me, as I'm a vegetarian), cheese, salads, yoghurt, coffee, tea, milk, juices, fruit, jam, nutella... really really good.
After breakfast we take a shower and wait for the rain stops. It never happens, so finally at midday we decide taking our useless umbrellas and go to do some sightseeing. It's not very convenient touring around carrying an umbrella, bags and the camera, but we have no choice if we want to see ...
... working, instead of, sitting and drinking beer with 5 girls.. So, the whole plan had to be changed, instead of meeting other CS, i joined them and he showed me the main parts of the city.. Zagreb is nice, quite compareable to Graz.. Just girls are much more cute here :)
We arrived in Tomis flat some time ago, now cooking dinner and have some beers in 10-people-CS-community is planned..
So more later

Wednesday 3rd June. We left early and drove through the mountains crossing high passes and ski fields dotted along the way. The villages had a definitely Swiss feel to them as it gets cold up here lots of woodpiles for fires and houses built of wood with steep rooves for the snow to fall off. We soon hit the Italian border with Austria and crossed midday leaving the high Dolomites behind us. The scenery was very clean and green and fresh. We had lunch on the side of the road at ...
