... I do know Italian, some of the pushy drivers knew exactly what my gesticulations meant and I understood theirs easily enough. Bruce could not find the place of our accommodation but a kind lady took us there. Well what a surprise, self contained villa, kitchen lounge, bedroom, bathroom and laundry in magnificent grounds and the price includes breakfast, you can see the photos on Facebook. We're immediately struck by Tramin's lack of Italian character... none of the signs are ...

Today we travelled from Moneglia to Bardolino, Lake Garda in northern Italy. We travelled through a 6 km one-way converted train tunnel to leave Moneglia. We missed the green light by 1 min and had to wait 20 mins before it was our turn!! It rained most of the 3.5 hours drive over fantastic autostrada's and it cost about €30 in tolls. We had such perfect weather over the last week we didn't mind ...

... diversions.....no-one else cares...... So, I figured that if the bus goes "out" along that route, there's a fair chance that before the night is out, that another will return along the same route going in the opposite direction....... Sure it will....... Won't it....? Please........! Anyway, we sat there for the best part of an hour while. Treas belted my good ear with " why didn't you do this, or that, or say this or that......." "Yes Dear...." Thank ...
