    A bit more walking around this exquisite place, a quick visit to a much quieter village then back to the hotel by 4pm. We caught up and rested till 7pm when we wandered as a group to the main piazza for a drink then to a restaurant for dinner. Good pizza and wine not too bad. Cool evening. Bed by 10.45. ...

    Was awake a long time in the night listening to a distant dog barking. Up at nearly 8 for breakfast and hit the road by 9.45. This has been an interesting place to stay but the bathroom could be improved. One thing I learnt yesterday in the mountains is that wild crocus grows there and I did see a clump of them.
