... stop for me is Villa Carlotta which is a villa and a lovely garden. 9 euro. Back in the boat to Bellagio. Another beautiful town. I have lunch here. I have a buffet which is disappointing. You actually have to use a microwave to heat things if you want them hot. Didn't realise this to start with. You can go back 3 times (primo, secondi and dessert). Cost 15euro including a glass of wine. Back on the boat ...

... OMG! This is such an impossibly beautiful place. There is a photo op every second. The lake is gorgeous and the mountains are behind it. I'm so glad I came up here. Great food, great service and a nice chat with the owner on the way home was the perfect way to end another great stay in beautiful Bellagio.

... t eaten we went there for a quick bite. A tasting plate of meats, cheese and pizza and a glass of wine was exactly what we wanted. We then walked around the corner to have that long awaited coffee fix. It didn't disappoint. Magnificent.
Showed Sue around parts of Bellagio and some of the great shops. It was very busy but by 6pm, the tourists had left!! Had dinner and headed back to the apartment.
We are really looking forward to having a few days to relax and chill out. ...

... and walk through the little streets and houses back off the road with their stone walls and flower-boxed windows. It was beautiful and the water was so perfect and still! Michel drove us all around the edge of Lugano before it goes into Italy. It was so stunning. We went home for a beautiful cooked lunch and then in the afternoon- we went out again! We walked up the road a little and then took the cable car/tram all the way up Mt. Brè- what a view!!! It was so beautiful- ...
