      ... accident had blocked off the vital road junction, necessitating a diversion in the wrong direction, away from Locarno and all the garages. Then, a wrong turn on our part took us alarmingly back up the self-same mountain which we had just descended so unsuccessfully. "Fifteen Euros" Fifteen Euros seems like a rip off for a space on the floor, but it's the cheapest offer I'm going to get here in Campodolcino, so I take it.       Day 274 6 hrs, 13 kms According to Google Maps, it's not possible to create a walking map up across Splugenpass. I'm hoping that that's only because when Google Maps comes across a tunnel, they automatically assume that pedestrians aren't allowed through it. Hoping... But doing a little research I found that there's supposed to be a hiking trail up towards the pass. That would be perfect... if I can find it! I follow a rather pedestrian ...
