Our last night in Italy (for now) we came down from the mountain ( not in his triumph) (or similar) and have spent our last 2 days on the shores of lake Garda at the beautiful hotel Gardenia Al Lago in the small town of Gargnano. Taking it relatively easy, relaxing in the peaceful garden beside the lake or on one of our 2 count then 2, balconies overlooking the lake! Took a short trip out this morning to drive (a challenging road) from lake side up through a fabulous gorge to the hill ...

Well believe it or not Mary and I have been craving sushi for the last several days and we think we may have found a sushi restaurant here. We're going to check it out for dinner tonight. We're not sure what we'll find in a sushi restaurant in Verona, Italy so stay tuned.

Up early & on way to Innsbruck. Passing thru Verona Italy...home of Romeo & Juliet. Passing thru Bolzano Italy. We are told the Otzi the Ice Man is here on display....man found all intact in 1991. He is 5000 yr old. A dozen people who have handled him have all died. 'No one wants to have much to do with him now' :). So pretty going thru the Alps. Crossing border into Austria @ Brenner. Bye bye ...
