Amazing weather today - bright sunshine with slightly crisp temperature. Our guided walk started by taking the cable car half way up the mountain. We still walked up plenty of hills though! Our furthest point was the Alpe Hormoos, a guest house high in the mountains near the border with Austria. We stopped for lunch and had the ...

We spent time walking around the town this morning but being Sunday the shops were closed. Actually the prices were way above what I would pay so window shopping is all I can do in Oberstaufen - trouble with trendy ski resort towns. Lovely quark strudel for morning tea but fortunately Adrian & I shared a piece because in the afternoon we found more strudel. We went to Hundlebahn cable ...

The weather was sunny, but windy and quite cold as we went up in elevation. We rode from Lindau back to Bregenz and from there headed inland. Also, we were on narrow roads for most of the day having to pay attention to the cars, trucks and tractors going by, which ...

... were a handful of tickets still available. There were only singles available, so we sat one behind the other in rows 4 and 5. The show was The Barber of Seville and was amazing. The puppets, the sets, the skill of the puppeteers were incredible. The audience was invited backstage after the show to see how it's all done. The group of us met up for dinner at Zum Alten Rathaus for some local German food. Don and I had two of the chanterelle specials and apple strudel for ...

We had a late start after a restless sleep (a few cars in and out of the car park through the night). We set out on a 55km ride. It started through the valley on a bike path, then headed up on the road to Piller. We stopped at the Fließ Naturparkhaus for ...
