At this time, we'd been in Luxembourg city for an hour and a half (this includes the time it took us to walk from our car, about 15-20 minutes away), and we'd seen all of the historic city except for 3 things. 3 things! 90 minutes to walk around and through the entire historic city!       We left the campsite at Alzingen about 10.00am and firstly went to the supermarket up the road. Then we headed off across country via small roads to Remich where we would cross the Moselle and enter Germany. It was a beautiful drive through fields, vineyards and woods. Once in Germany the road-work curse befell us yet again.."umleitung”..or diversion to us English speakers, meant we could not turn on to the Moselle route and drive all along ...

      ... audiobook wherever we have travelled, so the trip passed uneventfully. It was cold (3 degrees) and raining lightly - we keep thinking snow, but it's not likely.
