    ... on our passports! As we headed into the alps we saw snow on the mountain tops! How exciting. Click! Click! Lots of photos were taken. The road was windy and the climb was very steep! Lucky I wasn't driving! We are so lucky to have Brent as our guide as we made an unscheduled stop so that we could take some photos of the snow covered mountains.     ... will be filled with various hikes. I'm easing him into to the idea of slight elevation gain rather than just heading to the top.

    The girls don't start school for another week, although we have a meeting with the teachers later this week. They aren't too sure how they feel about it yet - Sadie keeps saying she doesn't need new friends, she likes her old ones just fine.

    Jen reminded us several times that we would be visiting three countries (Italy, Austria and Germany) today.     Breakfast in Tirol was much the same as anywhere else, bread rolls, cheeses, hams and the usual suspects of mueslis and fruits. We decided to just go into Hall and look around, and Anne suggested as much to the waitress. A lovely American woman suggested we go to Innsbruck as we were so close and it is such a great place to visit, and the train takes just ten minutes from here. So we did both.
