Our last day of riding

Castles in Bavaria
... impressive and with all the fall colours, we could see why fall and winter shots featured on so many postcards. From the bridge we continued down the path past the waterfall which was really pretty and then back to the parking lot. We felt that walking out over the bridge and down below by the waterfall really gave us perspective on what a gorgeous setting the castle had built in.

Tour de Fussen
A lovely sleep in our beds last night with duck down duvets, a very welcome luxury after the previous night. Breakfast was part of the deal, the traditional Bavarian sort with breads, savoury spreads, cheese and meats. Yum. The lady was absolutely shocked that I only wanted water to drink, and not even hot water. Its hard being a hot drink hater, like a social outcast.
