The first steps in the water were surprising as we could't feel anything, nothing cold in fact. It slowly manifest itself as we started sinking into the river. We quickly arrived near the first drop. Stefan, as professional as pedagogue, belaid us one by one. Everything went smooth.

Maybe you noticed last night's blog didn't happen, but your correspondent offers no apology except to say it was nice to have an early sleep.
Don't know about you, but I really enjoy the rain. That's what's happening here in the Alps. Rain. It's a good thing for two reasons - gives me a chance to catch up with my cuz Roger (also his partner Joe) and we can sit around and do not much.

Picked up the hire car in Munich. Drove in the rain to Neuschwanstein castle. We arrived at 3pm and next available tour was at 5pm. So had a walk around in the rain and decided to give the tour a miss. Drove to our hotel in Klause near Reutte in ...
... peaks, Gotschnagrat and Gatschiefespitz, as well as the valley below and the surrounding chalets. We arrived yesterday, had lunch at Fellini (I had fish from the lake) and then went for a swim at the Badi. I am having a wonderful time with the grandchildren and learned to play a new 'speedier' version of Monopoly, called Monopoly Empire.
