      ... It serves a traditional famous Schlosswirtschaft Schattenburg it's a Foot long Weiner Schnitzel. Served with a pickled salad or fries. Chase was up for the challenge being the meat eater he is and as you can see didn't quite get there but gave it an impressive go. It was a great setting in traditional surrounds.       ... than un oeuf is enough ! Strasbourg was great ...after managing to find a parking space which didn't involve taking the roof off the car to enter a multi storey car park..... The French only drive Renaults and Citroens built for dwarfs and car parks to match. Great old town and really nice creperie for lunch. Onwards across mountain passes with snow falling Arrived at Konstanz late afternoon. Really nice town with lots of old buildings ...

      ... Museum. This was very interesting describing the Hindenburg disaster and how the airship was designed. Sophie loved it as she got a suitcase in which she had to collect information at different spots throughout the museum.

      After 2 and a half hours we left the museum and drove onto Bregenz. It is on lake Bodensee and was very busy as there was a demonstration and lots of police were set up around the main city centre. It was actually a bit scary as we had no ...

      ... flames and 37 people died.


      We left Lindau and drove to Rosenheim. Along the way I saw lots of very big mountains with snow on the top. There was even piles of snow on the side of the road. We stopped in the parking lot and I jumped in the snow.I could feel how cold the snow was through my gloves.


      Soon we will be in Austria and hopefully seeing more mountains with snow.

      ... Rhine, thanks WIkipedia!) so many people cross the border here to get things from Germany which are cheaper (and vice-versa).

      Its quite a picturesque place which (we imagine) would be very busy in the summer - some good coffee places (we liked Das Voglhaus!) and a nice walk along the lake front.
