That effects a lot of things like fish migration, farming and even worse water politics. Just look at the Murray River (American English) or River Murray (British English) in Australia.

The passenger mix on this Rhine river cruise is slightly different to on the Rhone. There are 92 passengers and whereas most were Aussies, with a few English and Kiwis on the first cruise, a lot of those who joined us for this second cruise are English, just having a one week cruise. Quite a few I have spoken to are testing whether or not they like river cruising and all are very impressed with the ship and find it more luxurious than they had anticipated. ...

Howdy folks,

Steffie and I are keen to do the Neckarsteig this year, which is a hiking trail along the Neckar River from Heidelberg to Bad Wimpfen. The trail is 126 km long and is divided into 9 stages(Etappen). The brilliant thing about this hike is that all the stages finish in a town with a train station, so you can easily get back to where you started. ... By the afternoon it had completely cleared! Sunrise and sunset are called the golden hours in photography because it paints the landscape it a warm yellow colour, but because its so bright you have to underexpose it a bit.

We even had a hot air balloonist taking advantage of the sunny day to go for a spin. I thought he was going to come straight over Edingen, but he ended up landing near Seckenheim, so I jumped on the bike to see if I could find him. But landed too far away!
