    ... the Bormio side and straight away I knew I was in for a hard climb. It is 20 km long but the problem was the slope. I was working hard and part of the climb was 14%25. The climb was breathtaking, with tunnels of dripping water and waterfalls and high barren peaks. I stopped at the 10 km mark for water and supplies and was basically stuffed then.     Another change of plan today as the walk we were going to do yesterday - Sesvenna Hutte Walk - is now open today. It would appear that the Sesvennahutte did not open until today and they are responsible for maintaining the area.
