... and we eventually won back my soggy washing.
A productive day at work, got lots of my jobs crossed off the list-hurrah! Yummy staff dinner from the No 14 kitchen of creamy mushroom pasta-sounds a bit dull? it really wasn't!
Massaging my boss tomorrow, hope he still thinks I'm worth it!

Walked home with Beth who has been making the No14 christmas tree look beautiful. The whole chalet is going to look so stunning when they have finished. We had a 'ready,steady cook'style dinner of random things we found in the fridge and cupboards. Result? a really rather good dolcelatte risotto.
Early to bed as we are heading up the hill tomorrow morning!

Team dinner at 14
... fig chutney and toasts and then-yes more!-honeycomb and apple parfait with apple sorbet. My goodness! The most incredible meal I've ever had. The chefs are outstanding. The service was smooth and charming, so impressed with the hosts.
After finishing our drinks in the lounge the team head out for a few drinks on the town. I'm entirely sure that Verbier nightlife is quite me. Very different to La Ros vibe of fun and friendly. I need to do a bit more expolring to find my fit I think.

A visit to the Top of Europe.....

The train slowly made its way to the transfer point at Kleine Scheidegg and the ride took about 20 minutes or so, stopping in Wengen first where some passengers disembarked and others boarded. It also passed two other small stations, Wengernalp and Eigergletscher.

A day of traveling is not a day of rest

We passed a playground that had a little rope zip line. We all took a ride on it, it was quite fun.
So now we went back to the station, and went off to interlaken. There are two train stations in interlaken, and so we walked between them. Last time I was here, I don't remember it being so commertialized. I was extremely touristy. Everyone spoke English, But not all stores were open. We left as soon as ...
