        ... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.
        Only downside is having to wait until 7 till the restaurants open. Not easy for two gluttons like us. Had a rubbish meal first night too which is enough to put us in a bad mood for about a week. Italy almost done. ...

        ... our options! After we left Michael and Steve at the train station, we chilled in Como for a bit more, which actually is where I am at the moment.         ... be conifers. They had the right shape but had turned a warm gold colour. The snowflakes glistening on the end of the branches made me want a golden Christmas tree, in future. No further decoration needed.

        ... and that was on the nearby island of Isola Madre. Here we rambled around for well over an hour looking at this lovely landscaped garden, parts of which had some Australian plants incl eucalyptuses and bottlebrush. English landscaping sections and an almost rainforest section. Pure while peacocks slowly wandered by at frequent intervals as did partridges too. A huge Kashmir cedar tree was there as well.         On the bus to Lagura Switzerland, free time for coffee and shopping in the markets. Weather is very cold here. We took the bus to the cable car up the mountain called Monte Tamaro.
