... to the train station & a train to Kunta Hora. This is a small town about 60km from Prague. We are told that it is a typical Czech town, definitely not a major tourist place. One of our prime reasons for visiting here was to see the "Sedlec Ossuary" which is a cemetery church built in the 14th century. It is also called the Sedlec Bone Church as the church chapel is made from the bones of 40,000 people who were killed during the 14th century ...

There are spectacular views from the top but I only wanted to see St. ...

... in Prague. Well we were still there, but did not see or hear anything and until we got to our next destination, really had no idea what happened accept there was an explosion. Our next stop was to Kunta Hora to the Bone Church. This is a church that has the bones of an estimated 40,000 people artfully arranged inside. Side note- I went hiking with Erin a couple weeks ago and walked up on skeletons of dear and pretty much ...

... meant either a transportation slide was nearby, or, better yet, the entrance.

The people in small town Czech Republic are not rich. The two towns I visit may not be good representations of how all are in the Czech Republic, but they are poor and not well kept. The people seem to be less healthy as well, lots of smoking and many amputees roaming the streets. A very sad picture indeed. Buildings are falling apart ...
