      ... trousers tied at the knees and elbows, a bit like Morris dancers but without the bells, ribbons, flowers and piffling stick. So possibly not like Morris dancers at all but you hopefully get an idea. Oh and they also had pointy hoods on the back of there heads which I think they could pull forward to cover their faces.       Today we went to the beautiful little city called Cagliari in Sardinia. When we wandered the streets mum, dad and I found a little crypt next to a church were they used to do pagan worship. We've seen as much under the cities as we have above. Then it was used in world war two as a bomb shelter.
      As we wandered further, after the city walls gate, we found a neat bits and pieces shop where I found fabulous cat glasses (see picture). Unfortunately ...

      ... city gave a walled back street to the local artist to use.
      Onto the local bus and down to the beach. Timed it well the middle school kids had finished for the day. Nice young man sat next to me with about the same english as my Italian. Had a limited chat.
      The beach is about 7kms long. Half is free the other half had about 10,000 umbrellas and 10 clients. Must be mad in the season.
