    So we arrived in Palermo and we stayed with Rijsbrecht and Aretia for a couple of days. We couldn't have had a better host as he is amazing at preparing Italian food! The evening we arrived he made us a simple but unbelievable pasta with aubergines and tomatoe sauce.     Poor Diana and Geoff arrived after midnight last Monday after their plane developed 'technical problems' on the runway. A new plane had to be found before they could take off from Gatwick. Fortunately the marina was only 2 kilometers away from the airport so they were soon sitting in Isabella's cockpit, relaxing.
