When some of Paul's cousins kids arrived on the bus home from school, the kids had afternoon tea and a play with them too. We then went across the road to Angela's house where she took ...

Day 286 6 hrs, 4.6 kms Day totals: 16 hrs, 21.1 kms The train continues on down the valley, past miles of apple orchards. But these aren't like the apple orchards I'm used to seeing in Pennsylvania, USA. Here the trees are more like narrow bushes, spaced and cut with precision so farm vehicles can go between the rows and workers can pick straight from the truck. No ladders needed here. Interesting to see an Italian orchard ...
